Accountant Position at a Real Estate Firm
About the Opportunity:
We are looking for an experienced Accountant to manage financial records and help our organization grow.
Job Responsibilities:
• Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Analyze and reconcile bank statements and general ledgers to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Post journal entries for accrued expenses and revenue in accordance with accounting principles and company policies.
• Maintain and record fixed assets, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting.
• Prepare compliance reports as necessary, adhering to regulatory requirements and company standards.
• Serve as liaison for vendors to resolve billing discrepancies and negotiate payment terms.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Attention to Detail: Essential for accurate financial records and data analysis.
• Accounting Software Proficiency: Expertise in TALLY and Microsoft Excel required for efficient data management and analysis.
• Communication Skills: Ability to communicate financial matters clearly and effectively to stakeholders.
• Analytical Skills: Needed to identify discrepancies and analyze trends in financial data.
• Confidentiality: Maintaining confidential financial information and upholding data security protocols.
