Job Title: Azure Cloud Engineer

Azure Cloud Engineers design, build and maintain cloud computing systems on Microsoft Azure. They are responsible for the infrastructure services of an organization and oversee the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of cloud-based applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cloud Infrastructure Administration: Administrating Azure IaaS, PaaS & SaaS services to ensure secure, efficient, and compliant environments.
  • Infrastructure Installation and Configuration: Installing, configuring, and troubleshooting infrastructure services to meet business requirements.
  • Cloud Server Management: Managing instances of cloud infrastructure services and multiple cloud servers to optimize performance and availability.
  • Azure Tenant and Subscription Management: Deploying and managing Azure tenants, subscriptions, resources, resource groups, NSG, etc., to achieve scalability and efficiency.
  • IaC Automation: Working with Terraform, Ansible, or equivalent IaC automation tools and technologies to automate infrastructure provisioning and management.
  • Container Orchestration: Designing and implementing container orchestration with Kubernetes and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) to streamline application deployment and scaling.
Requirements:
  • Experience: 2-4 years relevant experience in Azure administration.
  • Proficiency: Highly proficient in Microsoft Azure.
  • Terraform and Ansible Experience: Demonstrated understanding and experience with Terraform, Ansible, or equivalent IaC automation tools and technologies.
  • Azure Knowledge: Working knowledge of Azure Resource Manager Templates (ARM Templates).
  • Kubernetes Experience: General working knowledge of Kubernetes design and implementation.
Soft Skills:
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Solid interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with delivery engineering teams.
  • Instruction Understanding: Ability to understand, remember, and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information.
  • Guideline Following: Ability to understand and follow complex instructions and guidelines.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • ITIL Foundations Certification: ITIL Foundations Certification is a plus.
  • Certifications: Desired Certifications: AZ 104, Azure Developer, Azure DevOps Engineer.
  • Additional Technology Areas: Additional technology areas and experience: Linux, PowerShell, BASH, Cloud platform specific automation tooling, additional scripting languages, additional software development languages, data experience, networking experience.
