**Cloud Native Architect**: The Role.

  • The position requires a deep understanding of cloud computing principles, containerization technologies and modern application development paradigms. This includes designing, developing and deploying cloud-native applications that are scalable, secure and meet business objectives.
  • You will collaborate with developers, operations teams and stakeholders to ensure the feasibility of all technical aspects of the products, develop standards for coding, tools and platforms and mentor less experienced Architects.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Design and implement distributed, real-time, secure, robust, scalable and high performant systems using cloud-native / SOA/microservices/serverless architectures.
  • Develop containerization strategies using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Configure cloud platforms and services such as AWS, Azure and GCP.
  • Integrate cloud-native applications with APIs and other services.
  • Present technological evolution and future state architecture to other teams.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Conduct architecture reviews and audits to ensure compliance with standards and identify areas for improvement.
  • Ensure security and compliance requirements are integrated into all architectural designs.
  • Lead POCs to explore new technologies and validate their applicability to the organization.
  • Develop mitigation strategies to address potential risks and ensure business continuity.
  • Assess and manage technical risks associated with architectural decisions.
  • Promote best practices in coding, design and architecture.
  • Contribute to improving existing development processes and build culture of continuous learning.
  • Stay up to date on the latest trends and technologies in cloud native development.
  • Mentor and guide development teams on latest development best practices.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

  • BE/BTech or MS degree in Computer Science from a reputed university.
  • 12+ years of hands-on experience in designing and developing multi-tenant SAAS solutions using Microservices, Event Driven and SOA Architecture.
  • Experience in Distributed Architecture Concepts/Design Patterns/SOLID principles.
  • Experience with messaging frameworks like Active MQ and Kafka.
  • Excellent understanding of DevOps principles, practices and tools such as Maven, Gradle, Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Advanced knowledge of Java, JavaScript, AngularJS, HTML5, Oracle, MSSQL and NoSQL.
  • Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana and ELK Stack.
  • Experience in an agile development environment with Test-driven development (TDD).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Certifications in cloud technologies such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect and Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect is a plus.
