Workday Support Consultant Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Workday Support Consultant.

About the Role:

  • As a key member of our support team, you will provide functional and technical support for our client's Workday platform, ensuring timely resolution of incidents and service requests.
  • You will be responsible for monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining Workday integrations and business processes.
  • Our ideal candidate will partner with HR, Payroll, Finance, and IT teams to understand business requirements and provide Workday solutions.
  • Key responsibilities include assisting with configuration changes, enhancements, and release management.
  • Additionally, you will conduct impact assessments for Workday updates and new functionality.
  • Preparation and maintenance of documentation (knowledge base articles, process flows, support procedures) are also essential tasks.
  • Provision of user training and guidance as needed is another critical aspect of this role.
  • Finally, you will ensure compliance with data security, privacy, and audit requirements.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience working with Workday in a support or consulting capacity is required.
  • Strong hands-on knowledge of at least two Workday modules (e.g., HCM, Payroll, Recruiting, Finance, Absence, Time Tracking) is necessary.
  • Experience supporting Workday integrations (EIB, Core Connectors, Studio) is also highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with Workday security, reporting, and calculated fields is expected.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, combined with a customer service mindset, are essential for success in this role.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with remote teams are also crucial.
  • Previous experience supporting Australian payroll and compliance is advantageous but not mandatory.
