Quality Assurance Specialist

Role: Quality Assurance Analyst - DevSecOps

With 3-5 years of experience in quality assurance methodologies, test planning, and defect tracking, the ideal candidate will be responsible for the execution, support, and continuous improvement of quality assurance processes within the DevSecOps department.

This role focuses on:

  • Test Planning: Developing and executing comprehensive test plans for application interfaces and operations.
  • Code Integrity Enforcement: Maintaining code quality standards and monitoring metrics through Sonar Cloud.
  • Vulnerability Assessment: Conducting thorough vulnerability scanning and reporting using tools such as Sonar Cloud and Visual Studio.
  • Release Readiness Reviews: Conducting release readiness reviews and validating quality criteria prior to deployment.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of software development lifecycle, Agile methodologies, and quality assurance best practices. Additionally, they should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining and updating system documentation and quality assurance procedures.
  • Preparing weekly status reports detailing progress, testing tasks, and artifact collection.
  • Ensuring smooth operation and integration of quality assurance processes within DevSecOps.

Core competencies include:

  • Proven experience in quality assurance methodologies, test planning, and defect tracking.
  • Knowledge of static code analysis, and vulnerability scanning (e.g. Sonar Cloud).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

A bachelor's degree in computer science or related field is required. Relevant certifications are also a plus. The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of experience in quality assurance or related positions, preferably within DevSecOps environments.
