Security Engineer Role

We are seeking a skilled Security Specialist to join our organization. The ideal candidate will have 4-7 years of IT network experience with strong exposure to infrastructure security and proxy solutions.

The successful candidate will have extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in designing and implementing security solutions, as well as creating test cases for validating the solution to cover various scenarios.

Responsibilities include:

  • Gathering required information to arrive at an optimal solution
  • Designing and integrating security solutions with existing authentication servers using protocols such as LDAP, IWA, IWA-direct, SSO, and Active Directory
  • Creating global and region-specific control and communication policies for end-users
  • Deploying and supporting forward proxy, explicit, and transparent web content filtering/web proxy configurations

Desired skills include advanced networking troubleshooting skills and extensive knowledge of web connectivity and protocols (WCCP, PAC files, TCP/IP, HTTP, HTTPS, SSL, FTP, Telnet, SSH, etc.). Certifications in web content filtering such as CCSP and CEH are highly desirable.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for establishing good coordination and communication with offshore teams and customers, understanding requirements, and working on solution approaches/project deliverables as per given schedules.

Additional responsibilities include participating in meetings with CAB for technical reviews, status updates, and communicating issues, as well as coordinating with different vendors to solve ongoing issues.

Rotational shifts covering 24/7 operations including weekends/holidays are required, and you must be able to coordinate with different vendors to solve ongoing issues.

Join us if you have excellent analytical and debugging skills, ability to coordinate with SMEs, stakeholders, manage timelines, escalation, and provide on-time status. Experience with Agile methodology, ITIL framework, AD, Network, and Firewall is beneficial.

Good documentation skills with network architecture drawing experience using Microsoft Visio to prepare and update diagrams are necessary. Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies is essential.
