SAP Production Planning Consultant

Job Description

The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing, optimizing, and supporting SAP Production Planning (PP) solutions. This involves ensuring alignment with business processes and production strategies.

The successful candidate will actively participate in project implementations, analyze business requirements, design SAP PP solutions, configure and customize SAP PP modules, support SAP implementation and roll-out projects, conduct functional testing, provide training and support to key users and end-users, and collaborate with other SAP modules to ensure seamless integration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Actively participate in the Project implementations where the area is involved.
  • Analyze business requirements and design SAP PP solutions accordingly.
  • Configure and customize SAP PP modules: production orders, material requirements planning (MRP), work centers, routings, etc.
  • Support SAP implementation and roll-out projects.
  • Conduct functional testing (UT, IT, UAT) and prepare documentation.
  • Provide training and support to key users and end-users.
  • Collaborate with other SAP modules (MM, SD, QM, PM) to ensure seamless integration.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • 3 to 7 years of experience in SAP system operations.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA is mandatory.
  • Experienced in SAP Fiori Apps.
  • Strong understanding of SAP landscape architecture and transport management.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes (discrete or repetitive).
  • Proven experience in SAP implementation and support.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Knowledge in RISE management and application operation knowledge in BTP
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and perform under pressure.

Preferred Qualifications

  • SAP Manufacturing certification or relevant SAP module certifications.
