Job Title: Production Planning Specialist

We are seeking an experienced production planning specialist to coordinate production workflow, plan and prioritize operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for determining manpower, equipment, and raw materials needed to cover production demand. They will assign workers and other staff to particular production operations, schedule shifts according to production needs, and monitor jobs to ensure they will finish on time and within budget constraints.

Additionally, the successful candidate will address issues as they arise, aiming for minimal disruption. They will obtain output information, prepare and submit status and performance reports, and keep paperwork organized.

Collaboration with quality control, warehouse, and other staff is essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate production workflow and plan operations to meet production demands
  • Determine manpower, equipment, and raw materials needed to cover production demand
  • Schedule shifts and assign workers to production operations
  • Monitor jobs to ensure timely completion and within budget
  • Address issues promptly to minimize disruption
Requirements and Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., business administration, industrial engineering)
  • Proven experience as a production planner or similar role
  • Excellent knowledge of production planning and quality control principles
  • Experience in MRP II and Manufacturing Resource Planning
  • Working knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems
  • Good math and statistics skills
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication abilities
