Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced software tester to join our team. As a software tester, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our products by identifying and reporting defects.

Our ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of testing techniques, including manual and automation testing. They will also have excellent communication skills and be able to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum 6 years of previous commercial experience with manual and automation testing
  • Minimum 3 yrs of experience in test automation
  • Experience working with Cypress.io and/or Playwright
  • Good knowledge of at least one JavaScript programming language
  • Excellent understanding of testing techniques, strong experience with manual testing, and some experience in non-functional testing
  • Knowledge of good practices in testing and the ability to use them in a practical way
  • Have excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical people with the ability to explain complicated technical concepts to non-technical people
  • Should have experience in API testing using Postman
  • Ability to mentor and guide more junior testers
  • Hands-on experience with Databases/Advanced Excel is a big plus
  • Experience working with large datasets or large customer base is a big plus
  • Root cause analysis
  • Test reporting
  • Knowledge of CI/CD setup, SQL databases, Monitoring services eg Rollbar, New Relic, Test design, programming languages like JavaScript, TypeScript, NodeJS, Test planning and QA strategy
  • Knowledge of Python, Java is an added advantage
