We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team at Fueling Brains Academy. This is a full-time, remote work opportunity that requires the ability to work effectively with a distributed team.

Fueling Brains Academy is an early learning center with 10 campuses across Canada and the USA. Our mission is to provide a nurturing and stimulating environment for children aged 0-6 years, enabling them to reach their full potential.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting our HR team in identifying hiring needs and filling job openings. This includes sourcing candidates through databases and social media, conducting interviews, and filing paperwork. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, be detail-oriented, and up-to-date with employment legislation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify current and future hiring needs and develop job descriptions and specifications.
  • Collaborate with department managers to compile a consistent list of requirements.
  • Attract suitable candidates through online employment forums, social media, and company talent pools.
  • Conduct interviews via phone or in-person.
  • Qualify or reject candidates based on interview feedback and resume reviews.
  • Serve as a contact person for questions from candidates.
  • Conduct in-person interviews and sort through applicants to fill open positions.
  • Assess applicants' knowledge, skills, and experience to best match open positions.
  • Complete paperwork for new hires.
  • Onboard new hires and help them transition into their new roles comfortably.
Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management.
  • Strong recruitment background in early childhood education within public and private schools.
  • 5-7 years of experience with recruitment processes and databases.
  • The ability to design and implement recruiting strategies.
  • Experience with Rippling ATS.
  • Excellent English communication skills.
  • Great interpersonal skills.
  • Good problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Knowledge of LinkedIn Hiring and Boolean Search.
  • A working knowledge of employment laws and legislation.

Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per annum
