Senior Hospital Operations Manager

Job Summary:

The Senior Hospital Operations Manager will oversee the daily operations of a hospital, ensuring that all clinical, administrative, and support services are running smoothly. This individual will be responsible for developing and implementing policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and patient satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage hospital-wide operations, including clinical, administrative, and support services;
  • Develop and implement policies, procedures, and systems to enhance efficiency and patient satisfaction;
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, statutory requirements, and accreditation standards (e.g., NABH, JCI);
  • Lead budgeting, cost control, and financial performance monitoring;
  • Coordinate with department heads, medical staff, and support teams for smooth inter-departmental functioning;
  • Plan and execute strategic growth initiatives, infrastructure development, and service expansions;
  • Maintain high standards of hygiene, safety, and quality across all hospital services;
  • Oversee HR activities, including recruitment, training, and performance management for hospital staff;
  • Build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including vendors, government authorities, and the local community.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) or a related field;
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in hospital administration or a related field;
  • Strong leadership and management skills;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.
