Software Quality Assurance Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team.

  • This role involves designing and executing test plans, validating large datasets, and ensuring quality across GCP-based solutions.

Responsibilities:

  1. Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and reports.
  2. Perform data-level validations: schema checks, completeness, integrity, and freshness validations.
  3. Work extensively with GCP services (especially BigQuery) for data validation.
  4. Write and optimize SQL queries for testing large data sets.
  5. Automate test cases using GCP services like Cloud Composer (or Apache Airflow), BigQuery and SQL.
  6. Monitor GCP cloud logs and build dashboards.
  7. Identify, log, and track defects and provide regular status updates on execution/validation progress.
  8. Manage defect triage with various stakeholders.
  9. Collaborate closely with engineering and product teams.
