Job Title: SOC Physical Design Lead

About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned physical design lead to spearhead our next-generation system-on-chip (SoC) initiatives. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for researching, designing, developing, simulating, and validating complex systems-level software, hardware, architecture, algorithms, and solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop advanced SoC architectures.
  • Develop and maintain detailed system-level architecture and micro-architecture models.
  • Analyze power, performance, and area trade-offs for IP cores and complete SoCs.
  • Work with Hardware and Software teams to understand design requirements, specifications, and interface details.
  • Validate architecture/micro-architecture models for multiple peripherals, interconnects, and IPs.
  • Integrate these models into the SoC platform and validate IP/System Level use cases.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electronics & Communication / Micro Electronics or related field and 4+ years of Physical Design or related work experience.
  • OR Master's degree in Electronics & Communication / Micro Electronics or related field and 3+ years of Physical Design or related work experience.
  • OR PhD in Electronics & Communication / Micro Electronics or related field and 2+ years of Physical Design or related work experience.
  • Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Good understanding of SoC Design & Physical Design Concepts.
  • Proficiency in digital design, VLSI, computer architecture, HDL languages, Scripting languages (Perl/Tcl/Python preferred).
