Bookkeeper and Accountant Position

The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record of establishing best practices in financial management and will operate with a profound understanding of the intricacies of accounting processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable under supervision.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions, entries, and adjustments.
  • Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and other financial records.
  • Prepare and process basic financial documents such as invoices, receipts, and payments.
  • Provide assistance in preparing financial summaries and reports as needed.
  • Monitor and track expenses, budgets, and cash flow.
  • Assist senior accountants in preparing tax returns and ensuring compliance with tax regulations.
  • Provide basic support during audits and financial reviews by gathering requested documents.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • 3-5 years of minimum experience in bookkeeping, and related internships are a plus but not mandatory.
  • Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Quick Books) and the MS Office Suite; basic Excel skills are sufficient.
  • Basic accounting principles and practices; willingness to learn and grow in the field.
