Service Operations Manager

This role is for an experienced professional to oversee workshop operations and customer relationships. The ideal candidate will have a background in automotive management or mechanical engineering, along with experience as a service advisor or diesel mechanic. The primary responsibilities include managing workshop operations, ensuring timely repairs, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers by serving as the main point of contact.
  • Schedule services and appointments for vehicle maintenance and repairs.
  • Coordinate with mechanics and suppliers to ensure timely repairs and after-sales services.
  • Manage workshop operations and inventory control to maximize efficiency.
  • Ensure the timely delivery of spare parts and components.
  • Provide advisory services for car maintenance and repairs, focusing on preventive measures and routine checks.
  • Maintain high service standards to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Completion of a degree in automotive management, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Service Advisor or Diesel Mechanic, with a strong background in workshop operations.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly.
  • Knowledge of industry-standard software and systems for inventory management and scheduling.
