About the Role:

The role of a software testing specialist involves ensuring the quality and reliability of software applications. This is achieved by thoroughly examining the software for any defects or bugs, identifying areas for improvement, and collaborating with development teams to rectify these issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Plan and execute comprehensive test plans to validate software functionality and identify defects.

  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development and product management, to ensure alignment on software requirements and testing strategies.

  3. Develop and maintain detailed test cases and scripts to automate repetitive testing tasks.

  4. Identify and report defects in a clear and concise manner, providing actionable recommendations for remediation.

  5. Conduct exploratory testing to uncover new defects and provide insights into user behavior.

  6. Participate in agile development processes, contributing to iterative planning and execution.

  7. Engage in continuous learning and professional growth to stay updated on industry trends and best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in software testing methodologies, tools, and technologies, with experience in Agile development environments.

  • Familiarity with cloud-based testing tools and platforms, with experience in DevOps and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
