Internal Audit Opportunity

Job Description:

As an Internal Auditor, you will play a pivotal role in evaluating and enhancing the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes within our organization. Your meticulous attention to detail and ability to identify areas for improvement will be invaluable in helping us achieve our goals.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct thorough internal audit engagements, executing testing and monitoring activities aligned with our annual Internal Audit program.
  2. Evaluate the efficacy of internal controls, identifying deficiencies or weaknesses in processes, systems, or practices.
  3. Develop tailored audit engagement plans addressing specific risks and objectives for each audit engagement.
  4. Compile clear and concise reports detailing audit findings, observations, and recommendations for presentation to management and stakeholders.
  5. Collaborate with management to implement corrective actions and improvements based on audit recommendations.
  6. Monitor and track the status of audit findings and management responses to ensure timely resolution and closure.
  7. Provide guidance and support to colleagues within the Internal Audit team and across the organization on risk management and control-related matters.
  8. Participate in special projects, investigations, or initiatives assigned by the Head of Internal Audit.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field.
  2. Minimum 12 months of progressive Internal Audit experience.
  3. Strong understanding of Internal Audit, Internal Control concepts, risk management principles, and audit methodologies.
  4. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate audit findings and recommendations clearly and persuasively.
  5. Proficiency in audit software, data analytics tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  6. Commitment to upholding professional standards of ethics, integrity, and confidentiality.
