Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Quality Lead to oversee our technical services, quality control, and product development activities.

This includes defining and implementing technical strategies aligned with business objectives, ensuring adherence to international quality and industry standards, and overseeing quality systems across manufacturing units.

  1. Technical Leadership & Strategy: The successful candidate will lead and manage all Technical Services, Quality Control, and Product Development activities. They will define and implement technical strategies aligned with business objectives and ensure adherence to international quality and industry standards (API, ISO, ASTM, etc.).
  2. Quality Control & Assurance: This role involves overseeing quality systems across manufacturing units, ensuring compliance and continuous improvement. The Quality Lead will monitor and evaluate testing protocols for steel pipes, coatings, welding, and NDT, and ensure traceability and integrity of inspection, testing, and certification processes.
  3. New Product Development & Innovation: The successful candidate will drive innovation in materials, processes, and product designs, leading R&D efforts for new products catering to Oil & Gas industry applications. They will explore and develop hydrogen-compatible products, including collaboration with H₂ labs.
  4. Metallurgical Expertise: The Quality Lead will apply advanced metallurgical knowledge for troubleshooting, process optimization, and material selection. They will analyze and resolve technical issues related to steel properties, fabrication, and performance.
  5. Client & Vendor Management: As the primary technical contact for key clients, the Quality Lead will ensure timely resolution of technical queries and issues. They will collaborate with vendors for quality assurance, technical compliance, and process enhancements, providing technical inputs for tenders, proposals, and customer specifications.
  6. Compliance & Standards: This role requires ensuring compliance with statutory, industry, and customer-specific requirements. The Quality Lead will keep abreast of emerging standards, technologies, and best practices in the Oil & Gas and hydrogen energy sectors.
