Job Title

Hiring, Technical Lead with a strong customer focus, ability to solve complex business problems, attention to detail and highly collaborative communication skills. This role will lead a team of talented developers to deliver a high quality customer facing progressive web app that can run at scale. We are looking for a hands-on technical leader who embraces new technologies with cutting edge development practices, Continuous Integration, continuous delivery, and world class mobility experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architect, design and build customer facing progressive web app for scale
  • Collaboration with cross functional teams in terms of development & deployment
  • Should be able to associate himself with the below: Agile, Pair-Programming, Scrum, CI-CD, Devops, Jenkins, TDD, BDD, AWS, JIRA, Bitbucket, Git

Requirements:

  • Sound knowledge of Software Architecture and design patterns
  • Self-learner with a desire to stay informed on best practices and latest in web development
  • Ability to multi-task and switch context to changing priorities in a highly dynamic environment
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills, especially in a complex application stack
  • Proficient in written and spoken English
  • Should be able to guide and mentor 6-10 member development team on Java and Javascript stack
  • Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability

Qualifications:

  • BE/ B. Tech degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
  • 8-14 years of total professional experience
  • 4+ years of experience in leading development team
  • 2+ years of experience in Agile application development projects
  • Should have led the design and development of at least one customer facing application across full stack
  • Extensive experience with JAVA and Spring
  • Excellent knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript
  • Hands-on experience working with Object Oriented JavaScript (OOJS), JavaScript libraries and their practical uses in building complex interactive experiences
  • Experience with current JavaScript frameworks such as Angular, React and Node.js
  • Experience with Cloud platforms such as AWS (incl. AWS Lambdas & Step Functions)
  • Experience with Agile development; comfortable working in 2-week sprints resulting in a working, potentially shippable product at the end of every sprint
  • Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
  • Exposure to AWS or any cloud service
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to maintain long-term business relationships
  • Self-starter, self-motivated and ability to work with minimal supervision Work transparently in a non-hierarchical, matrix-based organization structure
