Service Delivery Manager Job Overview

The Service Delivery Manager is a key role in our organization, responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely reconciliation of balance sheets and P&L statements for multiple assets. This includes identifying abnormalities and implementing internal checks and controls to maintain financial integrity.

This position requires strong analytical skills, with the ability to perform KPI, trend, and comparative analysis. The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership skills, with experience leading a team of qualified professionals. Strong communication skills are essential for this role, as they will need to liaise with the leadership team, property managers, and asset managers on a regular basis.

In addition to technical skills, this role also requires a strong understanding of financial policies and procedures. This includes knowledge of mortgages, sweeps, inter-co items, non-operating items, depreciation/amortization, intangibles, prorations, capitalization, escrows, overheads, reserves, distributions, deferred items, insurance, taxes, fees calculations, investments, aging items, prior period items, etc.

The Service Delivery Manager will work closely with multiple accounting and reporting tools, including Yardi, Resman, Joiin, Entrata, etc. They will be required to adapt to changing environments and priorities, while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
