Senior Process Safety Engineer Role

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Process Safety Engineer to lead the development and implementation of process safety programs, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Conducting detailed process hazard analyses (PHA), including HAZOP, FMEA, and QRA, to identify potential risks and develop effective mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to establish methodology for presenting and supervising corrective actions identified during PHA processes.
  • Driving the scoping implementation of engineering safety/hazard mitigation design strategies.
  • Developing and implementing robust safety and health hazard management programs, aligning with industry best practices.
  • Cultivating a strong safety culture across the organization through training programs and awareness initiatives.
  • Challenging conventional supply chain, design, and feature rules to drive proactive safety solutions.

To be considered for this role, you must possess:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in EHS roles, with a strong background in process safety.
  • A bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Occupational Safety, or a related field. Advanced degrees are highly valued.
  • Proven track record of developing and managing process safety programs.

Prior experience in the electronics industry and proficiency in Apple applications are significant advantages. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential for success in this position.
