Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software applications.

The successful candidate will design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts. They will identify, document, and track bugs and issues using tracking tools like JIRA and Bugzilla.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop testing documents, including STD, STR, SDD, and SRS.
  • Perform regression, functional, integration, performance, and usability testing.
  • Set up and maintain automation frameworks for continuous testing and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Create and execute appropriate test strategies and processes that align with business objectives and project timelines.
  • Stay updated with industry best practices, tools, and technologies for quality assurance.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven experience of 3-5 years as a QA Engineer.
  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Hands-on experience with automation tools, including Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, TestNG, and JUnit.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming/scripting language, such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
  • Experience with version control systems, including Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development processes.
  • Experience with API testing using Postman and RestAssured.
  • Knowledge of performance testing tools, including JMeter and LoadRunner.
  • Exposure to cloud environments, such as AWS, Azure, GCP, and containerized applications, Docker, and Kubernetes.

  • B.E / B.tech / MCA degree.
  • Certification in QA testing is an advantage.
