Software Quality Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team. This is a remote position that involves ensuring software quality goals are being achieved.

You will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring early detection of software bugs by working closely with development teams and promoting continuous alignment.
  • Implementing automated tests for multiple testing scenarios in the context of various country instances.
  • Extending automation test coverage to support early detection of bugs and risks.
  • Collaborating with country distribution and core domain squads to ensure software quality goals are being met.
  • Proposing process improvements in the context of our continuous improvement strategy, and driving their implementation.
  • Mastery of required tools and components necessary to perform assigned tasks.
  • Following software development best practices and methodologies adopted by the company.
  • Producing relevant documentation and guidelines to support the quality as everyone's responsibility strategy.

You require the following qualifications and skills:

  • Solid experience with automated testing, with at least 7 years of experience.
  • Knowledge of one software development language.
  • Experience with Selenium, Cucumber, or similar technologies.
  • Experience building automated test suites for build/regression testing.
  • Experience with Jenkins, CircleCI, Bamboo, or similar tools.

The following qualifications are not mandatory but will be valued:

  • Experience building Load/Stress Tests, using tools such as JMeter, Blazemeter, Apache Benchmark or similar.
  • Experience in a continuous integration/deployment environment.
  • Experience building tests in the context of a microservice/SOA architecture.
  • Experience testing interfaces and APIs using SOAP-UI, Rest-Assured,or similar tools.
