Job Title: Database Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Database Developer with expertise in MySQL Enterprise Versions Products and a strong understanding of database upgrades and patch application.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in migrating from MySQL to MariaDB and vice versa, as well as configuring and troubleshooting MySQL Enterprise Monitor (MEM) and Oracle Enterprise Monitor (OEM).

A strong hold on MySQL Enterprise backups and logical backups is required, including InnoDB Cluster and Master-Slave replication configurations and troubleshooting.

The successful candidate will also have experience with open source HA tools like keepalived/tungstun and be able to resolve MySQL Performance Issues.

Extensive exposure to public cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) is necessary to provide solutions and troubleshoot issues.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experienced with MySQL Enterprise Versions Products
  • Hands-on experience on migration from MySQL to MariaDB
  • Configuring & troubleshooting of MySQL Enterprise Monitor (MEM)
  • Strong hold on MySQL Enterprise backups & logical backups
  • InnoDB Cluster & Master-Slave replication configurations & troubleshooting
  • Open source HA tools like keepalived/tungstun
  • Collaborate with team to develop high performance database functionalities
  • Extensive exposure to public cloud (AWS/Azure)
