Key Role: Cybersecurity Specialist

We are looking for an experienced and skilled cybersecurity professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in security tools, technologies, and scripting/automation.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate expertise in security tools including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, web proxies, DNS security, DDoS protection, and virtual private networks (VPNs).
  • Maintain a good understanding of Linux operating systems and their security features.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or relevant certifications
  • Familiarity with TCP/IP protocols, packet analysis, and network security fundamentals

Core Competencies:

  • Problem-Solving & Feedback: Analyze complex cybersecurity issues, provide valuable feedback on security processes, and suggest improvements to enhance security posture.
  • Scripting & Automation: Develop scripts for process automation and system integration, collaborate on creating efficient workflows to streamline operations.
  • Development Skills: Strong understanding of Python development for automation and security tasks, utilization of development tools like Git and VSCode for version control and code management.
  • Containerization Knowledge: Familiarity with Docker and its application in cybersecurity.
