We are seeking a skilled IT Audit Consultant to join our team.

The successful candidate will assist senior IT audit consultants and report directly to the manager, executive director, or CEO. They will be responsible for working closely with clients to execute engagement plans, leveraging industry and functional insights from our advisory business to bring greater value to clients.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Participating in planning activities to identify client needs and service opportunities;
  • Owning growth and service delivery of engagements, including System and Organization Controls (SOC) Examinations, PCI DSS Assessments, HITRUST Assessments, IT Audits, internal audit engagements, pre and post implementation assessments, and issuance of reports under the AICPA Consulting and Attestation Standards;
  • Designing and executing high-quality, integrated, and efficient audit procedures;
  • Contributing towards building audit methodology, working paper guidelines, quality review standards, and communication protocols;
  • Creating and implementing audit strategies relating to evaluation of significant applications relevant to financial audits;
  • Preparing and communicating issues, risk, and recommendations to client leadership, including ongoing insights on potential corrective action plans;

Key skills required for this position include:

  • Excellent communication skills with clients and team members;
  • Collaboration with engagement team members to plan engagements and develop work program timelines, risk assessments, budgets, and other planning documents;
  • Leadership to ensure quality workpapers and deliverables, provide regular status updates, and adhere to project timelines;
  • Demonstrated understanding of standards, regulations, and information systems;
  • Strong project management skills, maintaining teamwork culture, project timelines, and quality of deliverables;
  • Demonstrated confidentiality and integrity within a professional environment;

This is an entry-level position with a full-time schedule. If you have experience as an auditor or risk advisor for a CA firm, professional services firm, or financial services company, we encourage you to apply. Familiarity with auditing IT General Controls and Business Process Controls is also highly valued.
