Financial Leadership Role

The Finance and Business Administration Manager is a key position that oversees the finance and administrative operations of an organization.

  • Main Responsibilities:

  • 1. Financial Planning and Reporting

    • Develop and manage accounting systems and processes for timely bookkeeping, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
    • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with statutory requirements.
    • Monitor expenses, budgets, and cash flow to support sustainable business operations.
    • Liaise with other teams to support consolidated reporting, audits, and cross-border financial coordination.

  • 2. Taxation and Compliance

    • Oversee employee payroll processing and ensure compliance with all applicable laws.
    • Manage tax filings, including TDS, GST (if applicable), and other statutory obligations.
    • Maintain accurate documentation for audits and ensure all regulatory registers are up to date.

  • 3. Insurance and Risk Management

    • Lead the procurement, review, and renewal of essential insurance policies, including public liability and cybersecurity insurance.
    • Monitor compliance obligations under lease agreements and service contracts.
    • Maintain insurance documentation and respond promptly to incidents or claims.

  • 4. Financial Infrastructure

    • Establish and manage banking relationships for operational efficiency.
    • Ensure compatibility with accounting platforms, including direct bank feeds.
    • Support the setup of digital payment systems and vendor management tools.

  • 5. Procurement and Operations

    • Manage procurement of IT equipment, software licenses, and office supplies.
    • Coordinate with vendors to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
    • Evaluate value-for-money and cost efficiency across administrative expenditures.

  • 6. Administrative Leadership

    • Develop internal administrative policies and workflows.
    • Oversee documentation of employee records, contracts, and regulatory filings.
    • Support onboarding and coordination with external consultants.
    • Key Deliverables:
    • Fully operational finance and accounting systems aligned with statutory requirements
    • On-time payroll, tax filings, and PF/ESIC submissions
    • Valid insurance policies covering public liability and cyber risks
    • Financial risk controls and cash flow forecasts
    • Compliance with all relevant regulatory obligations
    • Clear documentation of vendor contracts and expenditures
