Cloud Infrastructure Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Expert to join our team.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, deploying, and managing AWS cloud infrastructure. This includes designing and deploying EC2 instances, S3 buckets, VPCs, RDS databases, and Lambda functions.

In addition, the candidate will assist in design, implementation, and maintenance of backup, high-availability, and disaster recovery solutions.

A key aspect of this role is developing and monitoring automation scripts and tools for provisioning, configuration, and maintenance of cloud resources.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deploy cloud infrastructure components such as EC2 instances, S3 buckets, and VPCs.
  • Develop and monitor automation scripts and tools for cloud resource management.
  • Assist in design and implementation of backup, high-availability, and disaster recovery solutions.
  • Monitor system performance and analyze trends to optimize resource utilization and cost efficiency.
  • Implement security best practices and compliance standards to safeguard cloud environments.
  • Collaborate with DevOps and development teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines and support application deployments.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in designing and managing AWS cloud solutions.
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional certification is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and architectures.
  • Proficiency in AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, Lambda, CloudFormation, and CloudWatch.
  • Hands-on experience with containerization technologies and orchestration tools is a plus.
  • Experience with infrastructure automation tools is a must.
  • Solid understanding of networking concepts and technologies.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
