Senior Financial Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to maintain and update financial records.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and update financial records for companies in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare and process invoices, receipts, payments, and other financial transactions using accounting software such as Xero, MYOB, and NetSuite.
  • Reconcile bank statements and accounts to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies.
  • Prepare financial statements, reports, and summaries to support business decisions.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable to ensure timely payments and collections.
  • Use advanced Excel skills to create and manage complex spreadsheets and provide financial insights.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
  • Assist in preparing tax returns and ensuring compliance with tax laws.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and internal team members to resolve any bookkeeping issues.
  • Provide financial recommendations to support business growth and development.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of bookkeeping experience with proficiency in accounting software.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Knowledge of Australian accounting standards and tax regulations is a plus.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and be able to provide accurate and reliable financial information to support business decisions.
