">Roles and Responsibilities

">Below are key areas of responsibility for this role:">
  1. Timely filing and handling cases under various acts, service of notice, summons, b/w, service of NBW through police authority.
  2. Drafting & reply notices.
  3. Against case management.
  4. Arbitration and conciliation act for appointment of receiver for repossession of asset in chronic cases.
  5. Conducting Lok adalats.
  6. Executions.
  7. Matters filed u/s (3), CRPC.
  8. Appoint external solicitors from the empanelled list to represent IKF in court proceedings for the respective region.
  9. Liaise with advocates on a regular basis facilitate provision of all required information and review status of ongoing litigations in the zone.
  10. Ensure compliance of processes and procedures to applicable statutory requirements framed under legislation and enactments.
  11. SARFAESI process and proceedings.
  12. Suggest ways and means so that litigations are kept at minimum level and cost effective.
  13. Risk & Cost evaluation/assessment of contracts.
  14. Legal SPOC for Customer Negotiations.
  15. Liaison with external counsels.
  16. Responsible for maintaining Management Information System and legal reports.
