Job Title:

A Financial Management Professional is sought after to oversee and maintain accurate financial records, prepare comprehensive financial statements, and manage accounts payable and receivable for companies.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update financial records in accordance with established accounting standards.
  • Prepare and process invoices, receipts, payments, and other financial transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Reconcile bank statements and accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial regulations.
  • Prepare detailed financial statements, reports, and summaries to support informed business decisions.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and minimizing outstanding balances.
  • Utilize accounting software such as Xero, MYOB, and NetSuite to perform bookkeeping tasks effectively.
  • Conduct regular audits to identify areas of improvement and ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
  • Assist in preparing tax returns and ensuring compliance with relevant tax laws.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and internal team members to resolve any bookkeeping issues.
  • Provide insightful financial recommendations to support business growth.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of bookkeeping experience.
  • Proficiency in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting software such as Xero, MYOB, and NetSuite.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including the ability to create and manage complex spreadsheets.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Knowledge of relevant accounting standards and tax regulations is a plus.
