Key Position

Financial Controller is a crucial role that oversees the organization's financial operations. This position involves managing financial statements, maintaining general ledger integrity, and ensuring accurate closings.

Core Responsibilities
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with relevant standards.
  • Closing Procedures: Ensure timely and accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closings.
  • General Ledger Management: Maintain the integrity of the general ledger and implement effective financial control processes.
Treasury Management
  • Cash Flow Management: Oversee the company's cash flow, fund planning, and banking relationships to ensure liquidity.
  • Working Capital Management: Monitor working capital and optimize returns on surplus funds.
  • Funding Strategies: Develop and implement effective funding strategies to support operations and growth.
Management Information System (MIS)
  • Data Analysis: Develop and maintain timely and accurate MIS for senior management to inform strategic decisions.
  • Financial KPIs: Monitor financial KPIs, trends, variances, and suggest corrective actions.
  • Financial Planning: Drive financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes to align with business objectives.
Taxation
  • Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with direct and indirect tax laws, including GST, TDS, and Income Tax.
  • Tax Consultation: Liaise with tax consultants and authorities for assessments, filings, and litigation support.
  • Tax Optimization: Plan and implement effective tax-saving strategies within legal frameworks.
Internal Controls and Compliance
  • Audit Coordination: Coordinate internal and statutory audits to ensure timely closure with minimal observations.
  • Compliance Mechanisms: Strengthen internal financial controls and compliance mechanisms to mitigate risks.
  • Audit Readiness: Ensure audit readiness and proper documentation across financial functions.
Risk Management
  • Risk Identification: Identify, evaluate, and manage financial risks, including credit, liquidity, and operational risks.
  • Risk Mitigation: Implement controls and mitigation strategies for identified risk areas.
Strategic Financial Planning
  • Business Planning: Support CFO/Management in long-term business planning and investment decisions.
  • Financial Insights: Provide financial insights for strategic initiatives, cost optimization, and capital allocation.
  • Expansion Plans: Participate in business expansion plans, M&A, and new projects feasibility studies.
