Job Overview

As a seasoned data engineering professional, you will design and manage end-to-end data pipelines leveraging AWS services. Your expertise in cloud-native platforms, data architecture, and secure coding practices will be invaluable in driving our platform forward.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement data product storage, processing, and APIs using AWS-native tools and serverless architectures.
  • Use AWS Lake Formation for fine-grained access control and secure data sharing across domains, architect multi-tenant, domain-oriented data lakes and integrate with Redshift Spectrum / Athena for distributed querying.
  • Apply Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, AWS CDK) for provisioning and managing cloud resources, drive platform governance, ensuring compliance with security and operational standards.
  • Provide mentorship and technical guidance to engineering teams, mentor team members on secure coding practices, compliance, and architectural principles, lead design reviews and technical discussions to ensure secure and scalable implementations.

Requirements:
  • 12+ years of experience in platform engineering, data architect, data engineering, or solution architecture.
  • Strong expertise in building scalable, secure, and compliant cloud-native platforms.
  • Proven track record in designing and managing multi-tenant systems on AWS, hands-on experience with AWS cloud, Big data and Analytics ecosystem (Airflow, Spark, Python, Flink, AWS Batch, S3, Athena, ECS-Fargate, SQS).
  • Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or Scala, advanced skills in Terraform (IaC), proficiency with SQL and NoSQL databases, strong CI/CD experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI/CD.
