Job Title:

IIB Middleware Integration Specialist

About the Role:

This is a challenging opportunity for an experienced integration specialist to design, develop, and deploy integration flows using IBM Integration Bus (IIB).

Main Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain message flows, ESQL, JavaCompute nodes, and other integration components.
  • Collaborate with business analysts and architects to understand integration requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to middleware and integration components.
  • Perform unit testing, integration testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Monitor and optimize the performance of integration solutions.
  • Document design, development, and operational procedures.
  • Work with other middleware technologies and tools as needed.
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an IIB Developer with hands-on experience in IBM Integration Bus (v9, v10 or later).
  • Strong knowledge of ESQL, Java, and message flow development.
  • Experience with WebSphere MQ (MQ Series) and messaging concepts.
  • Familiarity with RESTful and SOAP web services.
  • Understanding of middleware architecture and integration patterns.
  • Experience with XML, JSON, and related data transformation techniques.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and debug complex integration issues.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
