Job Overview

The ideal candidate will lead and oversee the entire application development lifecycle, from gathering functional designs to ensuring high-quality standards are met.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design and deploy enterprise-level business or technical applications.
  • Work with distributed and cloud technologies, integrating and configuring them as needed.
  • Evaluate security concepts for microservices, mobile, and web apps and implement effective solutions.
  • Perform performance tuning, automated testing, and database technologies management.
  • Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies like AI and Machine Learning.
  • Develop functional and technical specifications, code, test, and provide application support.
  • Mentor teams of 20+ through agile/scrum or waterfall life cycle application development.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 12 years of related IT experience designing and deploying enterprise-level business or technical applications.
  • Experience with a wide range of distributed and cloud technologies, including Cloud workloads, Containerisation, Linux, Java/JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, MVC, Angular JS, React, Mobile and Application Middleware, ESB, Datapower XML/JSON, SOA and API management, distributed relational and noSQL databases Postgres/Yugabyte along with traditional Oracle/MySQL/DB2, PhoneGap/ IOS/Android SDKs.
  • Familiarity with cryptography, key management, and security solutions on both mobile and server-side.
  • Strong analytical ability, communication, and interpersonal skills to build relationships with team members and customers.
