We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Systems Administrator. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our object storage solutions and backup systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide level 2/3 production support for a variety of functional areas.
- Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to object storage infrastructure.
- Interact with end-user applications to understand and troubleshoot various issues.
- Represent the team in incident, problem, and crisis calls.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
- Have good experience with storage platforms in the object area, including Dell EMC ECS, NetApp Storage Grid, Veritas Enterprise Vault, and OpenText Info Archive.
- Have a good understanding of object infrastructure related to EMC ECS and NetApp Storage Grid.
- Have good knowledge of application deployment with S3 protocol and understanding of S3 API calls.
- Have experience troubleshooting latency issues and application performance issues related to storage.
- Have moderate knowledge of backup technologies, such as Veritas NetBackup and Commvault.
