Job Title: Corporate Lawyer Position

Description:

We seek an experienced corporate lawyer with a strong background in IT services and consulting. As a key member of our team, you will provide legal guidance on corporate, commercial, and contractual matters.

Responsibilities:
  • Drafting and Negotiation: Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, MSAs, SOWs, NDAs, and vendor agreements to ensure compliance and risk mitigation.
  • Legal Advice: Provide expert advice on corporate governance, compliance, employment, and regulatory matters to support business operations.
  • Business Support: Collaborate with business teams to facilitate client negotiations and deal closures.
  • Compliance Management: Ensure adherence to data protection, IT laws, and international regulations (GDPR, HIPAA, etc.).
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate legal risks, providing strategic advice to leadership.
  • External Liaison: Liaise with external counsel for litigation, arbitration, and dispute resolution.

Requirements:

  • LLB/LLM from a recognized institution.
  • 5+ years of post-qualification experience in corporate law, preferably in IT services or consulting organizations.
  • Strong expertise in contract drafting and negotiation with international clients.
  • Familiarity with data privacy, intellectual property, labor, and employment laws.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a mid-to-large IT services/consulting company.
  • Exposure to multi-jurisdictional contracts and cross-border legal issues.
