Senior Financial Crimes Investigator

We are seeking experienced professionals to join our team and help manage and resolve customer disputes and financial crimes cases, with a particular focus on chargeback processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and investigate financial crimes and dispute cases in line with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Analyze transaction data and supporting documentation to determine case validity and liability.
  • Prepare and submit dispute case files, representments, and supporting evidence within required timeframes.
  • Communicate with internal teams, financial institutions, and merchants to ensure timely resolution of disputes.
  • Identify patterns and emerging trends, escalating insights to financial crimes prevention teams.
  • Maintain accurate records and reporting for compliance and audit purposes.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • 2–5 years of experience in financial crimes, disputes, or chargebacks (with Mastercard experience).
  • In-depth knowledge of Mastercard chargeback rules and dispute life cycle.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with fraud detection tools, case management systems, and regulatory requirements.

Preferred candidates will have experience working in the financial sector.
