Data Warehouse Engineering Role



We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Data Warehouse Architect to join our team at Continental. As a Senior Data Warehouse Architect, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining large-scale data warehouses to support our business applications.



Key Responsibilities:




  • Design and implement scalable enterprise data warehouse architectures
  • Develop and maintain data pipelines, data models, and data mart designs
  • Implement the latest data warehouse modeling methodologies to ensure pragmatic, clean, and sustainable implementations
  • Support DevOps for various data and analytics applications
  • Identify, prioritize, and execute tasks in the software development life cycle
  • Document solutions using flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, etc.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to fix and improve solutions


Requirements:




  • Expertise in scalable enterprise data warehouse design concepts, SQL, Python, and Delta Lake format
  • Advanced knowledge in solution design of Data Lakehouses using Databricks, SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4 data domain, and requirements engineering
  • Good to have knowledge in Power BI data modeling, SAP SAC data interfaces, Salesforce data interfaces, Scala, and test-driven development


Experience:




  • Overall 8+ years of professional experience
  • About 5+ years of experience in data warehouse modeling
  • 5+ years of experience in SQL, Python, and data warehouse modeling
  • 3+ years of experience in Lakehouse concepts, Databricks, and data warehouses using SAP-data, preferably with a Sales & Finance focus
  • 2+ years of experience working in Agile


Qualifications:




  • Bachelor's degree with a focus on computer science/software engineering, mathematics, or other natural sciences
  • MCA with professional experience
  • Other relevant education streams with strong tech experiences can be considered


Additional Information:




  • Experience with implementing and operating large enterprise data lakehouse or data warehouse business applications
  • Experience with building data and analytics applications based on SAP- and non-SAP data, preferably with specific experience with finance & sales data
  • Strong customer focus and drive to design technical solutions that focus on business value and analytical user experience
  • Experience of agile software development methodologies
  • Excellent communication skills in English (spoken and written)
  • Great team player and ability to work in a highly international team
  • Willingness to sometimes travel nationally and internationally to various Continental locations and external development partner locations
  • Willingness & drive to learn new things
  • Experience working in tools like JIRA, Confluence, GIT, Jenkins, etc.
  • Contribute to data and analytics community in Continental
  • You will be part of India Delivery center in Bangalore
