Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Data Warehouse Architect to join Jones RecruitZo. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our business's data warehouse. You will play a crucial role in designing and implementing ETL processes, database performance administration, and dimensional design.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Infrastructure Assessment: Assess and understand the current data infrastructure, identify gaps, and develop integration plans for current systems to align with desired future models.
  • Design and Recommendations: Design data warehouse initiatives and systems, recommending measures to enhance performance across all metadata related to ETL processes.
  • ETL Development: Develop necessary ETL processes and prepare OLAP cubes, while maintaining database scripts and tools for smoother automation.
  • Architecture Analysis: Analyze data warehouse architecture goals and identify the skill requirements necessary for successful implementation.
  • Process Monitoring: Monitor processes and develop strategies to expedite the collection and access of relevant metadata.
  • Reporting: Manage status reports and provide updates to management.
  • Security Compliance: Implement and maintain the Information Security policy, with a focus on protecting assets and executing security processes.

Required Skills:

  • Proficient in Data Modeling, SQL, OLAP, and ETL processes, with practical experience in at least one ETL tool (e.g., SSIS).
  • Understanding of BI and reporting platforms, along with awareness of industry trends that influence product strategies.
  • Experience with programming languages and database platforms, preferably Oracle.
  • Familiarity with best practices for automating processes including building, configuration, deployment, documentation, testing, and monitoring.
  • Data Warehouse Architect Certification is a plus.
  • Must have executed at least one end-to-end DWH project.
