Job Summary:

The role of a Manufacturing Data System Expert is to design, implement, and maintain advanced data systems for manufacturing processes. This involves working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of technology and business operations.

Key Performance Indicators:

  • Quality: Ensuring accurate and efficient data collection, analysis, and reporting.
  • Timeliness: Providing real-time insights to inform business decisions.
  • Deviations/Escalations: Identifying and resolving system errors or issues promptly.

Job Dimensions:

This role will work directly with the site leadership team to drive business outcomes and contribute to site-wide initiatives. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong technical background in software development, data analysis, or a related field.
  • Experience with manufacturing IT systems, ERP, MES, LIMS, and cloud-based data storage solutions.
  • Familiarity with statistical tools and programming languages such as Minitab, JMP, Python, and R.
  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical cGMP, Computerized System Validation (CSV), and regulatory requirements.

Ideal Background/Requirements:

  • University degree in Engineering, Computer Sciences, Technology (Chemical/Biology) or similar field.
  • Languages: Fluent in English and additional languages desirable (German, French, other).

Relevant Experiences:

  • 5 years of practical experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with expertise in manufacturing IT systems.
  • Hands-on experience with Biovias Discoverant and Pipeline Pilot tools.
  • Comprehensive understanding of integrated IT systems such as ERP (SAP), MES, LIMS, OSI-PI, SQL, Oracle/MS SQL databases, and cloud-based data storage solutions.
