Job Title:

We are seeking an experienced Marine Engineer to lead the maintenance and repair of marine engines, generators, and auxiliary machinery. This role demands expertise in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage complete overhauls of marine engines and generators.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot malfunctions in engines, generators, and auxiliary machinery.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and corrective actions to minimize downtime.
  • Maintain accurate records of spare parts inventory and usage.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on auxiliary systems.
  • Conduct routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on HVAC systems onboard vessels.
  • Understand the principles of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
  • Conduct maintenance and repairs on hydraulic and pneumatic components.
  • Participate in the installation and commissioning of new engines and generators.
  • Maintain and repair marine steering systems to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and industry best practices.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or Marine Engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of diesel engines, inboard and outboard marine engines, and propulsion systems.
  • Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience working with multiple engine brands and marine power systems.
  • Proven expertise in marine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
  • Advanced knowledge of HVAC systems, refrigeration, and auxiliary marine equipment.
  • Relevant marine certifications highly preferred.
  • Strong ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and spare part catalogs.
