Senior Legal Executive

This role involves overseeing all legal matters for the residential business vertical, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations, managing risk, and negotiating contracts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement legal frameworks and risk mitigation strategies aligned with the company's objectives.
  • Ensure full compliance with RERA and local real estate regulations.
  • Conduct legal risk assessments, audits, and governance reviews across the residential vertical.
  • Oversee legal due diligence for land acquisitions and property investments.
  • Provide legal support for township projects and mixed-use developments.
  • Structure and negotiate land purchase agreements, joint development agreements, and leasehold transactions.
  • Lead and address litigations arising out of disputes related to property, contracts, and tenant agreements.
  • Represent the company in civil, commercial, arbitration, and other proceedings.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate complex real estate agreements.
  • Establish contract review mechanisms to protect business interests and minimize risks.
  • Develop legal risk mitigation frameworks to protect the company's assets and brand reputation.
  • Advise the Board of Directors and Executive Leadership on legal risks and regulatory matters.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • LLB (Bachelor of Law) or LLM (Master of Law) with corporate experience in real estate is preferred.
  • 20+ years of legal experience, with at least 5+ years in a leadership role.
  • Proven expertise in real estate law, land acquisition, litigation, and regulatory compliance.
  • Strong experience handling residential projects.
