Job Title: Resource Management Professional

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Resource Manager to lead our resource planning, allocation, and utilization management efforts. The ideal candidate will have 8-10 years of experience in managing end-to-end resource planning, allocation, and onboarding for multiple projects.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date resource forecasts and availability.
  • Proactively identify potential resource gaps and conflicts and resolve them effectively.
  • Collaborate with project managers, delivery leads, and HR to understand project pipeline and resource demands.
  • Work closely with recruitment teams to fill open roles with the right skills in a timely manner.
  • Monitor and report on resource utilization, bench strength, and productivity metrics.
  • Recommend and implement strategies to optimize resource usage and reduce bench time.
  • Maintain detailed records of skills inventory, resource assignments, and project allocations.
  • Generate regular dashboards and reports on resource KPIs, including utilization, availability, and forecast accuracy.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Strong understanding of project lifecycles, delivery models (Agile, Waterfall, etc.), and staffing needs.
  • Proficiency in resource management tools (e.g., SAP, MS Project, Smartsheet, Planview, etc.).
  • Advanced Excel and data analysis skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in IT services, consulting, or a global delivery environment.
  • Certification in project management or resource management (e.g., PMP, PPM, or RMCP).
  • Familiarity with skill taxonomy and competency frameworks.
