Job Title: Assistant Fashion Designer

About the Role:

We are seeking a talented Assistant Fashion Designer to join our design team. As an Assistant Fashion Designer, you will play a key role in assisting the head designer in developing new collections from concept to final sample.


Main Responsibilities:
  • Assist in researching current fashion trends, fabrics, trims, and colors to support design direction.
  • Create design sketches, mood boards, and technical drawings.
  • Coordinate with vendors, fabric suppliers, and production teams for timely execution.
  • Support fittings and make necessary alterations or design adjustments.
  • Prepare spec sheets, measurement charts, and maintain design archives.
  • Ensure quality standards are met during sampling and production.
  • Provide creative input and fresh ideas for upcoming collections.
  • Manage day-to-day studio tasks such as organizing samples, swatches, and lookbooks.

Skillset:
  • Graduate/Diploma in Fashion Design (NIFT, Pearl, FDDI, or equivalent).
  • Proficiency in design software (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CorelDRAW, Procreate, etc.).
  • Strong eye for color, detail, and current fashion trends.
  • Basic knowledge of fabrics, embroidery, and garment construction.
  • Good communication and organizational skills.
