Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Procurement Manager to evaluate supplier proposals and support bid preparation and proposal documentation.
- Ensure that orders are placed at the lowest ultimate cost.
- Provide accurate updates to the team.
- Collaborate with managers and senior managers to improve and streamline processes to reduce costs.
- Build strong relationships with existing suppliers to facilitate a cohesive working relationship.
- Monitor open orders and send daily backorder reports to relevant departments.
- Analyze and interpret data to inform procurement decisions.
Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience in a similar role.
- Degree-level education.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
- Experience in a procurement environment, preferably with US clients in the IT industry.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ambition and desire to learn and grow.
