Procurement Specialist for Supply Chain Management

Connect Tech+Talent is seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management and be able to execute supplier sourcing, supplier management, inventory management, contract negotiation, purchase orders, and support the Procure to Pay process.
About the RoleThis role will involve supporting materials and equipment requirements and needs of the company, collaborating with key persons to ensure clarity of specifications and expectations, order execution, and procurement strategy development. Additionally, the successful candidate will build relationships within the company and equipment and materials suppliers, manage purchasing contracts, and track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities- Sourcing and selecting suppliers that meet the company's quality and cost standards
- Managing procurement contracts and agreements to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
- Developing and implementing procurement strategies to achieve cost savings and improve efficiency
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements and develop effective solutions
- Analyzing market trends and economic factors to inform procurement decisions
To be considered for this role, you should have a strong understanding of procurement principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and analytical skills. A degree in a relevant field such as engineering, business management, or supply chain management is required. You should also have experience working in procurement or a related field, with a strong understanding of ERP systems and procurement software.
