Automation Tester Role

About the Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Tester with 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance methodologies and tools. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Python automation testing, proficiency in at least one programming/scripting language such as Java, and experience working in Unix/Linux environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop automated tests using Python and other programming languages
  • Design and implement test frameworks to improve efficiency and effectiveness
  • Work closely with development teams to identify and prioritize testing needs
  • Analyze and report defects found during testing

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

  • Proficiency in at least one programming/scripting language such as Java, Python, or Shell
  • Experience working in Unix/Linux environments, including writing shell scripts and using Unix command-line tools
  • Strong understanding of relational databases and advanced SQL skills
  • Experience with RESTful API testing and tools like Postman, or similar
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies
