Quality Assurance Lead Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance professional to oversee the testing and quality assurance processes for our software development projects. The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of experience in software testing, manual & automation, and quality assurance practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understand software requirements and prepare test plans in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Prepare test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Implement quality assurance best practices and understand, analyze, and develop complex test data sets for testing.
  • Identify and select test cases for automation and/or create, enhance, debug, and execute automation test cases using Selenium, TestNG, Maven, and BDD framework.
  • Execute tests (manual/automated) and develop automated test scripts using Selenium and BDD framework.
  • Suggest improvements on the automation framework and report defects while working closely with developers.
  • Analyze test results, track software testing metrics, and prepare/present test reports.
  • Train and mentor junior software test engineers and collate/monitor the defect management process.
  • Manage changes, execute regression tests, maximize test coverage, and improve quality and productivity of output.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related fields.
  • 7+ years of professional work experience in software testing, manual & automation, and quality assurance practice.
  • Exposure to Trade Finance platforms and experience in testing web applications, database, and APIs.
  • Strong expertise in functional and non-functional testing, including system, integration, regression, database, performance, stress, etc.
  • Experience in designing and developing test automation frameworks and using relevant code libraries.
  • Proficient in quality assurance methodologies, rest API's, and database technologies like SQL server, MySQL, etc.
  • Good experience in configuration management, version control, excellent communication skills, and strong track record of delivering results.
