Job Description:

We are seeking a seasoned project leader to oversee the planning and execution of large-scale solar power projects.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing project timelines, budgets, and resources while ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning & Strategy
  • Define and execute detailed project plans aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Develop project schedules, resource allocation plans, and risk assessments.
  • Establish KPIs and project monitoring mechanisms.
  • Project Execution & Monitoring
  • Oversee end-to-end execution of solar projects from initiation to commissioning.
  • Ensure strict adherence to scope, cost, and timelines.
  • Monitor daily site progress and coordinate with site engineers and contractors.
  • Implement corrective actions in case of deviations or delays.
  • Engineering & Technical Oversight
  • Review and validate engineering designs, layouts, and technical specifications.
  • Ensure compliance with electrical, civil, and mechanical design standards.
  • Provide technical guidance to engineering and site teams.
  • Ensure smooth integration of solar systems with grid/BESS.
  • Stakeholder & Team Management
  • Lead project teams, providing guidance, motivation, and performance management.
  • Coordinate with clients, consultants, government bodies, and internal stakeholders.
  • Manage contractors, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure timely delivery of services and materials.
  • Act as the key point of contact for all project-related communication.
  • Quality, Safety & Compliance
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and EHS standards at site.
  • Conduct quality audits and inspections at various stages of the project.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • Implement ISO and industry best practices in project execution.
  • Project Closure & Handover
  • Supervise testing, commissioning, and performance trials.
  • Ensure proper documentation, certifications, and statutory approvals.
  • Prepare detailed project closure reports and lessons-learned documentation.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Electronics/Energy or equivalent. (Master's preferred).
  • 12+ years of experience in managing large-scale Solar EPC/Utility/C&I projects.
  • Proven track record of handling MW-scale solar projects.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, project execution methodologies, and renewable energy regulations.
  • Experience in contract management, procurement, and vendor management.
